After 12 years of service in the Royal Marines, our Founder – Andrew Holme,
fulfilled a long-term ambition by starting a second career within the superyacht industry.

OUR FOUNDER

As CPO and part of the Deck team aboard a 70+m yacht, Andrew soon realised that the industry would very much benefit from crew who:

  • hold advanced qualifications
  • a diverse set of additional skills
  • are used to long term overseas commitments
  • understand the importance of rank aboard
  • have the ability to adhere to and carry out instructions
  • are seeking career longevity and progression

…attributes former military personnel hold in abundance,
especially Royal Navy and Royal Marines whose maritime skill sets and experience perfectly match the demands of the industry.

Andrew’s time within the industry made him determined to raise awareness with:

a) the yachts – to highlight the many benefits employing former military personnel delivers, and
b) veterans – to present the industry as a viable career path

We are an MCA certified placement agency and pride ourselves in supporting some of the world’s finest superyachts on the water today.
